Using the GitLab Integration

Start using Stark in GitLab

With Stark's GitLab integration, you can kick off an accessibility scan right from GitLab. To keep your work secure, no code is sent to our servers — it all happens right within GitLab!

Using the GitLab Integration

📝
Each report is categorized based on the WCAG success criteria just the way you’re used to from the WCAG audit tool in the Stark browser extensions.

To get started:

  1. Log into your Stark account
  2. Click Create a Project
  3. Scroll to Import GitLab Repository and follow the instructions shown to install Stark’s GitLab app
  4. Optionally, you can provide Stark with some additional information so that you can kick off a scan from within the Stark project page - you'll need to select a branch as well
  5. You can now run your first scan! 🎉
  6. Be sure to check out the config options to tailor the scan to what you need (authenticated scanning, for example!)
